The Beach / Surfing / Fishing
Troncones beach is a tranquil, uncrowded 3 mile stretch of beach about 20 minutes from Ixtapa. We can actually see Ixtapa Isle from the villa.

It is really amazing if you have ever been to a “resort” beach during the holidays and not been able to see the ocean for the maze of people. It is never like that on our beach… even a small crowd is unususal! It’s perfect for beachcombing, boogie-boarding, horseback riding, tidal pool exploration, and, is well known to the surfing community.
In Troncones, we have the Troncones Point break. We are about 30 minutes from La Saladita and about 45 minutes from The Ranch.
There are also services nearby that offer boat services for surfing.
The fishing is some of the best anywhere… rooster fish, dorado, sailfish, tuna, marlin, just to name a few. There are a couple of boats available near the village, but most of the charters are from the pier in Zihuatanejo.
